Jeff Beekman is a multi-disciplinary artist, who works with a wide variety of mediums and methods of making. Choices made are largely dependent upon the conceptual ideas being explored, with recurrent themes including a meditational approach toward a work's creation, an appreciation for good craftsmanship, and in all cases an empathetic investigation of subjects explored. Included with each work in the gallery is a specific statement regarding the intentions behind the artwork.

Jeff Beekman was born and raised in the Daytona Beach area of Florida, received his BFA in Ceramics from the University of Florida, and his MFA in 3D from the University of New Mexico in 2005. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Foundation in the School of Art & Art History at the University of Oklahoma.
